Hours: 21:00 - 06:00, Monday - Friday
Salary: �32,235 per annum
Job Description:
As a Warehouse Team Leader based in Droitwich, you will play a crucial role in supervising and supporting the operational process to ensure the accurate integrity of customers' stock. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations during the designated shift hours.
  • Oversee the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Train, coach, and support warehouse staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Address any issues or concerns raised by team members and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, procurement, and quality control to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Compile and report relevant operational data and performance metrics to management as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and occasional overtime as required.
