Overview
Everest People Solutions is actively seeking a dependable and skilled Warehouse Despatch Supervisor / FLT Driver to join a food manufacturer based in Northampton on a full-time, permanent basis.
As a Despatch Supervisor / FLT Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a dispatch processes. Your responsibilities will include assisting in boxing/palletising orders for dispatch, loading and unloading lorries and you will be responsible for completing paperwork in accordance with GMP audit requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy in documentation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for the Warehouse Supervisor / FLT Driver
Assisting in boxing/palletising orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading
lorries/transferring
stock to cold store
Completion of due diligence paperwork in accordance with GMP audit requirements
Providing support/covering for the Dispatch Manager when necessary
Requirements for the Warehouse Supervisor / FLT Driver
Forklift License (Counterbalance mandatory)
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail
Basic food hygiene and/or experience in a food production facility
Flexibility with shift patterns/must be able to work every Saturday
