There is no need to complicate this, it is a straightforward Warehouse Supervisor role with the opportunity to progress into a multi-site Warehouse Manager.

You will join a Food Manufacturer with a mostly automated warehouse and lead a team of four direct reports (20-40 indirect), ensuring that everything is running smoothly, getting hands on with some team development and looking where you can drive and improve efficiency.

There is opportunity for progression as you will be given your own succession plan to develop into a multi-site Warehouse Manager over the next 3-5 years.

There are some strong characters in the team so you’ll need to be comfortable with handling challenging situations in a diplomatic manner.

Background

While food manufacturing/warehousing is desirable, it isn’t essential. What is essential is experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a fast paced manufacturing business with a common sense approach to managing teams and driving improvements.
