Warehouse Operative

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of our award winning clients as a Warehouse Operative. 

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play a crucial role in the smooth operation of their warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Ideally, candidates for this role should hold a B2 license. However, the client is open to considering applicants with a B1 license, provided you are willing to undergo a conversion course.

Responsibilities: 

·        Report to Warehouse Manager & daily reporting to Parts Coordinator

·        Picking & packing small parts orders throughout the day

·        Preparing & processing small parts orders for shipment in the UK

·        Receiving deliveries throughout the day, checking correct stock received, working with parts coordinator to prepare delivered stock for despatch or storage

·        Stock put away in storage racking into shelving locations or deployment locations

·        Stock taking, stock organisation, stock replenishment

·        General housekeeping in the parts store (tidying work areas, racking aisle’s, sweeping, emptying bins)

·        H&S courses & Manual Handling training will be provided regularly

The working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + overtime.
