Warehouse Operative

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative based in Gainsborough.

Warehouse Operative Benefits:

• Location: Gainsborough
• Rate of pay: �11.50 per hour rising to �12 once permanent
  
• Hours: Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• Contract: Temp to Perm

Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Locate products and rotate stock effectively
• Picking and packing items
• Working from a pick sheet and using scanners
• Using a trolley to move stock around the Warehouse
• Replenishing the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
• Moving pallets
• Manual handling
• Ensure all pallets, cages and stillages are secure in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
• Comfortable with using a range of warehouse related equipment
• Unloading, loading and moving items safely using an Counterbalance FLT - please note this a small part of the role and not a full time FLT role

Warehouse Operative Criteria:

• Experience working within a warehouse, picking and packing environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Attention to detail to maintain order accuracy
• Team player mindset with the willingness to support colleagues
• Adaptability to meet changing business needs
• Health and safety aware
• Able to use warehouse equipment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Hardworking and reliable
• Experience of driving an FLT
• Must have an FLT Licence - we will consider external or in house licences
