Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives in Emersons Green, Bristol. We are looking for hard working and experienced Warehouse Operatives to join our team, where you will be compensated with a very competitive base pay. You will also have the opportunity to increase your earnings through an individual performance related bonus scheme, earning up to extra £4 per hour and to work additional hours. Enhanced weekend rates offered for Saturday and Sunday!

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

• Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast past paced environment
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
• A 'can do', right first time and passionate approach
• Flexibility to work shift patterns
• You must be able to work in a chilled environment, with temperatures between 0 to 5 degrees
• Location : Emersons Green, Bristol
• Hours of work : Late Shift, 13:30 to 21:30

Salary :

• Starting at £12.72 basic rate per hour, increasing to £15.82 after 12 weeks
• Weekend rates starting at £16.40 per hour, increasing to £19.78 after 12 weeks
• Performance related bonus offered, with possibility to earn an additional up to £4 per hour
• Our client offers a fantastic 5 day training programme to ensure every new starter feels confident in their new role, but previous experience within a warehouse environment is required.
• We are currently offering full time positions on an 8 weeks rolling rota which includes weekends and hours of work are 13:30 to 21:30

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

• The job role could require working in Chill with Produce and Ambient Chambers. Employees need to be comfortable working in chill / fridge conditions and must be able to lift heavy items including trays of meat, juices, wine and other alcoholic beverages.
• Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets, in accordance with the debit picking procedures
• Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all times
• Handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimise damages and maximise customer service
• Maintain agreed performance and quality standards
• Adhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment
