Warehouse Operative

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for managing various warehouse tasks including handling goods in and out, stock counting, order picking, and assembling packs. Based in Sparkford , this role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your love for cars with your warehouse expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and fulfil customer orders while maintaining strict invoicing standards

• Provide exceptional customer service and support

• Thoroughly inspect incoming stock for shortages and damage, recording any discrepancies

• Respond promptly to branch operations' requests

• Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health & safety regulations

• Handle returns efficiently, ensuring accuracy in stock reconciliation

• Report any instances of missing stock to management

• Assist with general warehouse upkeep and cleanliness

• Lifting heavy objects and being on your feet for long periods of time.

Please note, you will be expected to work 1 Saturday a month from 9am to 12pm (paid). This is a chance for customers to ask questions about company products the monthly car meet.

Ideal candidate:

• Passion for cars and extensive knowledge of cars would be great

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative within the automotive industry ideal but not essentail

• Proven track record of working effectively in a warehouse environment

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additional Benefits:

• 20k - 23K depending on experience

• 28 days holiday including Bank holidays
