Warehouse Operative/Van Driver & FLT

Kenect Recruitment are please to be recruiting a Warehouse Operatives/ Van driver for our client based in Worcester. Our Client is a well known distribution company. This is a temp to perm role moving permanently after 6 weeks. The ideal candidate must have FLT experience. If your current certificate is out of date then my client will be happy to put you through a refresher course but you must be able use a FLT as at times you will be required to load a van on your own.
All Candidate must have lived in the UK for at least a full 3 years and must have a British Passport or Dual Britiash Passport. You will not pass security clearance with out these requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Perform picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle materials and products with care to prevent damage or loss
- Utilize a warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Stock shelves and ensure proper labeling of products

Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 20KG on a regular basis
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred but not required
- Proficient in using a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Must have a driver licence with no more than 6 points for Speeding offences.

This role is mainly Warehouse with some delivery driving included.

Candidates when on call will require to go to the warehouse pick the order and then deliver these to the client. Candidates will be briefed in more details during the process.

Start Date ASAP

• £26,000 per year
• Shifts can differ, anything from 06:00 - 18:00
• Can be on call 1 week out of 6 in the week, on call 1 week out of 3 on the weekends

Any call out is at X1.5 of your hourly rate.

All successful candidates must complete a 3 year Vetting process and require a DBS (paid by the client) The DBS must be clear and arrive before you can start. Candidate must have lived in the UK for at least the past 3 years. All Candidates must have a British passport or a dual British Passport for security clearance.
