Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

Our client in Maldon, Essex is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver, with a Counterbalance Forklift Ticket on a temporary to permanent basis.

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with an in date Counterbalance Forklift Ticket?

This exciting opportunity is working within a small team, where you will be an essential part of the business, ensure smooth moving of stock in and out of production. Not just a Forklift role, this position with involve elements of order picking, packing, wrapping pallets, supplying product for production and as well as fast paced forklift driving.

The Duties of the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver;

• Regular driving of Counterbalance Forklift
• Using forklift for high racking of product
• Order picking and packing
• Supplying packing line with product
• Completing stock rotation in line with guidelines
• Loading and unloading vehicles, by hand and with forklift
• Ensuring product is dispatched with correctly and promptly
• Completing associated paperwork correctly
• Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others
• Maintain Health & Safety, quality, and hygiene standards

The Ideal Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver;

• Experience of working within FMCG and Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
• Experience of driving Counterbalance Forklift, and an in date license
• Valid driving licence to drive on public highways is essential
• Looking for a permanent opportunity

Hours and Pay;

Working on a 4 week rotating shift pattern

05:45 - 14:00

07:30 - 15:45

08:00 - 16:15

14:00 - 22:15 (temporarily 09:30 - 17:45)
