Warehouse Operative/Driver

Description

UBT Recruitment are proud to be working with an established family-run SME based in Sittingbourne. This role involves a combination of warehouse operations and driving responsibilities to support our daily operations. As a Warehouse Operative/Driver, you will be responsible for various tasks including loading and unloading goods, as well as delivering products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload furniture from delivery vehicles


• Operate warehouse equipment


• Assist with inventory management and stock control


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations


• Drive company vehicles to deliver products


• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries

Requirements

• Experience in warehouse operations and driving roles


• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record


• Forklift licence (desirable)


• Excellent organisational and time management skills


• Attention to detail and accuracy


• Physically fit


• Ability to lift heavy items


• Flexible with working overtime

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am-5pm (overtime required)

Benefits

• Salary: £26,000-£27,000 (DOE)
