Position Overview
This position is located at our distribution center in London, UK. The Warehouse Manager oversees the location's warehouse and manages all activities related to the Yita’s internal and external warehousing operations, ensuring that company’s objectives for efficiency, economy, quality and productivity are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities
Safety:
Prioritize and ensure the safety of all crew members and inventory goods
Examine and maintain proper warehouse equipment service and safety
Investigate and report all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and timely manner. Comply with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
Maintain high standards of organization, hygiene and cleanliness at warehouse
Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
People:
Responsible for recruitment, training, and management of all direct reports
Cooperate and work alongside crew members; perform other duties as needed
Demonstrate strong leadership and promote a productive, team environment
Handle sensitive personnel data with confidentiality and assist with other HR and bookkeeping duties
Operations:
Direct day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution, inventory control and maintenance operations
Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Confirm all warehouse operations are in compliance with company’s policies, current laws and regulations
Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services and goods provided
Utilize the warehouse management system (WMS) with in-depth understanding
Analytics:
Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
Calculate and setup physical space and layout for maximum efficiency
Produce reports and statistics regularly (i.e., IN/OUT status, dead stock report…)
Reconcile, report and submit all payment transactions at the end of the work day
Demonstrate strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Fluency in both English and Chinese required
3+ years of warehouse management experience required
Comfortable with technology; and can utilize Microsoft Word, and Excel
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines independently
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong attentiveness and accuracy to details
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Working Condition
