Yita has distribution warehouses in the United States of America and the Europe, and a new warehouse in London will be set shortly.Position OverviewThis position is located at our distribution center in London, UK. The Warehouse Manager oversees the location's warehouse and manages all activities related to the Yita’s internal and external warehousing operations, ensuring that company’s objectives for efficiency, economy, quality and productivity are met or exceeded.ResponsibilitiesSafety:Prioritize and ensure the safety of all crew members and inventory goodsExamine and maintain proper warehouse equipment service and safetyInvestigate and report all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and timely manner. Comply with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)Maintain high standards of organization, hygiene and cleanliness at warehouseSafeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsPeople:Responsible for recruitment, training, and management of all direct reportsCooperate and work alongside crew members; perform other duties as neededDemonstrate strong leadership and promote a productive, team environmentHandle sensitive personnel data with confidentiality and assist with other HR and bookkeeping dutiesOperations:Direct day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution, inventory control and maintenance operationsInitiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and proceduresConfirm all warehouse operations are in compliance with company’s policies, current laws and regulationsReceive feedback and monitor the quality of services and goods providedUtilize the warehouse management system (WMS) with in-depth understandingAnalytics:Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage systemCalculate and setup physical space and layout for maximum efficiencyProduce reports and statistics regularly (i.e., IN/OUT status, dead stock report…)Reconcile, report and submit all payment transactions at the end of the work dayDemonstrate strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience requiredFluency in both English and Chinese required3+ years of warehouse management experience requiredComfortable with technology; and can utilize Microsoft Word, and ExcelAbility to multitask and manage deadlines independentlyExcellent leadership and communication skillsStrong attentiveness and accuracy to detailsAbility to lift 50+ poundsWorking ConditionBackground and drug screenings requiredWarehouse/office environment
