We offer quality, professionalism, reliability and excellent service when dealing with our customers.We are currently looking to recruit a full time Warehouse Manager who is available to start as soon as possible based at our depot in Magna Park, Lutterworth. To be successful for this role, you will need to be flexible to work any 5 days out of 7.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management, a proven track record of optimising processes and driving results as well as a hands-on approach. The Depot Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse facility while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.Key responsibilities: Provide strong leadership to the warehouse team, including supervisors and staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, develop, and mentor warehouse staff to maximise performance and productivity. Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimise inventory management, order fulfilment, and shipping/receiving operations. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Oversee inventory control, including accurate tracking, stock rotation, and cycle counting. Implement strategies to minimise inventory shrinkage and reduce carrying costs. Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfilment. Manage the warehouse budget effectively, controlling costs while maintaining operational excellence. Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. Ensure the warehouse facility is well-maintained, clean, and secure. Oversee maintenance and repair activities as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing. Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management. Skills & requirements A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not essential. Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior warehouse management role within the logistics sector. Comfortable working in a fast pace environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes. Proficiency in using warehouse management software and technology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience with furniture / home products would be advantageous, but not essential.
