Our client based in North London are searching for a ColdstoreWarehouse Manager who will support a small team of WarehouseOperatives and develop a long-standing business and their operations.This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the SeniorLeadership Team and be able to make business critical decisions.Job RoleThe individual needs to be able to encourage theirteam and take control of all Warehouse Operations, identifying andresolving any issues or problems when raised.ResponsibilitiesHave the ability and willingness to work handson with your team ensuring you gain a full understanding of the rolealong with the impact and importance this has on the business.Manage current procedures with regard to goods in/out whichinclude raw ingredients for our production facility, despatch ofmanufactured product and the receipt and despatch of factored goods. Identify and continually develop the process of havingcompany stock in the correct location ensuring ease of dailyoperations therefore maximising efficiency and profitability.Full responsibility and accountability of managing the Warehouse Teamthrough the picking and loading process of all orders being despatchedon own fleet and with third party suppliers.Manage, educateand develop the Warehouse Team and ensure by means of weekly rota thatstaffing levels meet the operational requirement.Maintainall training records for Warehouse Staff ensuring they are both up todate and compliant with legislation whilst also identifying furthertraining needs or requirements.Full responsibility for Healthand Safety of the Warehouse operation having the ability to identifyand resolve any issues presented.Manage a small team of 5-6direct reports, with this growing as business requires. Therole will involve liaising with all departments including the stockcontroller, supply chain team, transport department and the companyDirectors.The Warehouse Manager will be required to liaise andreport to all departments within the business and the companies’directors.The role will develop with the growth of thebusiness and will therefore continually change so a willingness toadapt and embrace change on an almost daily basis is required. Youwill also need to have the ability and leadership skills to lead yourteam through operational changes and developments
