The Warehouse Manager manages the day-to-day warehouse personnel and functions for BSL Direct Sales – Wonder Windows. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for maintaining the vehicle fleet along with general maintenance of the grounds. They're responsible for establishing company targets (KPI’s) and objectives, hiring and developing the warehouse team, finding cost savings in process improvements, developing strategic short- and long-term plans and responsible for providing an outstanding in-house and external customer experience.Job brief:The Warehouse Manager will run all of the daily functions of our Rochester, NY warehouse(s) including inventory management, receiving, staging, daily loading of installer trucks, delivering supplies to job sites as needed, and warehouse team leadership.Responsibilities (but are not limited to):Implementing operational policies and proceduresRepresent and instill the company’s core valuesOrganize and maintain warehouse appearance and functionalityMaintaining and monitoring all inventory levels of all consumables and commodity productsCoordinating deliveries of material to job sites and other divisionsLifting and moving large windows and doors off of trucksStaging all of the installers’ materials for daily jobsEnsuring installer trucks are kept organized and in working orderManaging all of the proper disposal and pick up of waste from jobsDelivering supplies to job sites if neededDocumenting inventory and truck schedulesMonthly inventory countsObserve health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition along with all loading areasEnsuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipmentEnsure that warehouse employees have all of the necessary training and certificationsMaintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
