Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager - Leeds - Up to �30,000

Our client who are an independent freight forwarder are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK.

As Warehouse Manager, you will be tasked to manage the entire warehouse operation for the company.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Salary: �24,000 - �30,000 a year

Holiday Allowance: 25 days plus bank holidays

Other benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme

Responsibilities:

• Managing the entire Warehouse operations for the company
• Quality checking, labelling/numbering, scanning/weighing parcels and packing goods to export standard
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Checking off deliveries for accuracy
• Managing the efficient use of space regarding where items are stored
• Working closely and communicating with colleagues based in the office
• Track any damaged items in the warehouse and produce damage reports where necessary
• Working to tight deadlines and follow lead times
• Oversee Health and Safety within the warehouse
• Provide cover for driving staff when required
• Manual handling
• General Warehouse and Ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Experience as a Warehouse manager (Min 2 years)
• Must be IT Literate
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
