To assist the Warehouse Manager in supporting the wider business with mailroom, storage and distribution services, in a timely manner, in line with departmental objectives.



To provide exceptional customer service, through the storage and distribution of its physical assets in a timely manner, ensuring the team meets their operational objectives.



Key Information




  • Logistical support for all events and operations, including movement of goods and equipment to multiple sites across the UK and Ireland.

  • Manage goods in and out of the warehouse, handling, storing and then recording all deliveries using the warehouse management system.

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in ensuring stock levels are maintained and audited through stock control system.

  • Maintaining the effective and safe operation of the storage facility through implementation of the Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety policy and procedures, and Toolbox talks.

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse, reporting any issues to the Facilities team.

  • Conduct daily vehicle maintenance and health checks of the warehouse vans, , ensuring they are roadworthy and clean, recording and reporting any defects and damage to the Warehouse Manager for further action.

  • Undertake daily checks for the forklift and Edmolift in line with training and qualification, to ensure safe operation, recording and reporting all defects and damage to the Warehouse Manager for remedial action

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in the handover and return of pool vehicles across the operations, ensuring all defects and damage are appropriately recorded and reported to the Facilities team for action.

  • Provide additional support to the wider Facilities team in relation to minor maintenance, and the provision of furniture and office supplies.



Requirements




  • Driving licence is essential, including forklift and warehouse lifting equipment.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment or similar role, with awareness of relevant Health and Safety requirements.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Stock Control systems.

  • Proven track record of effective team working along with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to organise and communicate effectively and professionally.

  • Flexibility to suit the needs of the Warehouse function, including unsociable hours with robust time management in order to meet deadlines.
