VP of Investments

Job Description
Vice President - Investments - Emerging Markets; Our client is looking to hire a Vice President, Investments (VP) to join the global investing team. The role reports to the MD for investments.
As a member of the global investing team, the VP will contribute at every step in the investment process in a collaborative fashion with other members of the team. This begins with fully understanding the challenges and opportunities in each region and/or sector by actively engaging with market participants and performing qualitative and quantitative market analysis leading to a proposed theory of change.
They will also conduct due diligence and support the MD for investments in all transactions for the firm.
Post fund investment, the VP will work collaboratively with selected fund managers to add value to their activities and help them succeed and grow.
Investment experience, including due diligence and transaction structuring;
Experience across a range of platforms (e.g. funds, project developers etc.) A deep network in EM/DEs, including amongst fund investors;
The VP will contribute across the full life cycle of each investment as part of the firms global investments team.
