Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a VP of Artists Relations. The VP of Artists Relations will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with contemporary artists, managing artist contracts, negotiating deals, and overseeing artist-related financial transactions. The VP of Artists Relations will also be responsible for coordinating communication between artists and the gallery, and managing labor relations within the artist community.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends
Experience in contract negotiation, preferably in the art industry
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of finance and budgeting concepts
Experience in labor relations, preferably in the art industry
Ability to work independently and remotely
Experience in the art industry is a plus
