Job DescriptionRisk & Insurance Manager | Hybrid - London | £90,000 - £120,000 + Bonus & Benefits!My client manages the Commercial Real Estate business for one of the world's leading global Invesment management firms. They are looking for a VP Risk Insurance Manager to come in and support the Head of Risk. The role will be advising portfolio clients of a global investment firm on insurance policies and strategy.As the Insurance Risk Management Specialist, you'll play a vital role in maintaining existing insurance, leading policy renewal processes, and coordinating the onboarding process for newly acquired portfolio companies. Additionally, you'll provide essential support to portfolio companies in their risk management efforts and engage with brokers, insurers, and third-party attorneys to ensure compliance with lender requirements.Key Responsibilities:Assist in executing risk management initiatives across EMEA and portfolio companiesLead policy renewal process and negotiate policy termsCoordinate onboarding process for newly acquired portfolio companiesProvide support for portfolio companies with their risk management initiativesEngage with brokers, insurers, and third-party attorneys to ensure compliance with lender requirementsDevelop a strong understanding of each portfolio business to accommodate changing needsSupport senior management in interpreting policy terms and conditionsTrain team members on insurance lines and risk management practicesPrepare presentations for senior management at Blackstone and portfolio companiesLead claims meetings and manage third-party relationshipsOversee analysis of loss data and recommend corrective measuresMaintain risk management information system platform and other technology systemsSkills and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, insurance, and/or risk management8+ years’ experience in insurance risk management, brokerage firm, or insurance companyExtensive experience with Commercial Real EstateIn-depth knowledge and expertise on Property, Liability, Construction Works, and Financial LinesAbility to analyze financial information and create concise reporting for senior management.CII Level 4 certification, CIC, CPCU, CRM, ARM or higherIf you're ready to make an impact and contribute to our growing portfolio, apply now to join our team as a Risk Management Specialist!
