VP Engineering

Job Description
Our client is a private equity backed software and services company with revenues and profits of hundreds of millions of pounds. We're looking to hire a VP Engineering to lead the international software engineering organization (c. 100 people), and drive best practice and efficient project delivery across the portfolio of software products.
Responsibilities
Lead the international engineering team, providing them with leadership, guidance, coaching, and motivation
Ensure products are delivered on time, on budget, and to high standard
Make sure your team has the right tools, methodologies and organizational structures to succeed
Requirements
You will have deep experience of developing software products sold to business customers. Experience of leading large, internationally dispersed engineering teams would be an advantage.
You will have a strong understanding of modern best practice relating to software development tools, processes, and methodologies.
Experience of working for entrepreneurial software companies would be an advantage.
This role is based just outside of London and this candidate can work on a hybrid basis.
