Job Title: Senior Vice President/Director - Corporate Banking (Renewable Energy Sector)Location: London, United KingdomOur client, a leading corporate bank specialising in the energy and natural resources, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as a Senior Vice President or Director for their Corporate Banking division. This role specifically focuses on the renewable energy sector, a pivotal area for growth and sustainability in the evolving financial landscape.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the corporate banking team focused on the renewable energy sector, ensuring effective client relationship management and business development strategies.Develop and execute innovative financing solutions tailored to the unique needs of clients within the renewable energy industry, including project financing, structured lending, and capital raising.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, including developers, investors, industry associations, and governmental agencies.Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments impacting the renewable energy sector, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive business growth.Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, legal, and compliance, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigate risks associated with lending activities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.Extensive experience (ideally 10+ years) in corporate banking, with a focus on structuring and lending within the renewable energy sector.Proven track record of successfully structuring and executing complex financing transactions in the renewable energy industry, including project finance, asset-backed lending, and syndicated loans.Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and regulatory compliance within the banking sector.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve strategic objectives.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, senior executives, and internal stakeholders.How to Apply:Candidates passionate about renewable energy and excited about the opportunity to join a dynamic team in the world of sustainable finance are encouraged to apply.
