Detailed descriptionWe are looking for volunteers to join our Community Fundraising Team to support in all areas including bucket collections, Supporting Events, Fundraising, Schools and General public speaking, tin co-ordinator/collector and being our Mascot.Our Region Covers: Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.We have big plans to grow our charity and we need your help to raise awareness and increase income for The Air Ambulance Service and the Children’s Air Ambulance by supporting the fundraising team in your local community.As a volunteer fundraiser you could help us by supporting the fundraising team and participating in local events representing the Charity.In this role you could be involved in:Organising events to raise money and awareness in your areaRunning fundraising stalls at local events to represent the charityParticipating in collectionsCollecting and delivering collateral and merchandise to supportersThis role is very flexible, any time you can give helps us to fund our lifesaving missions. As the charity will invest time in processing your application and providing you with training to carry out your role, we ask that you commit to a minimum of 6 hours per month.We are looking for volunteers to join our Community Fundraising Team to support in all areas including bucket collections, Supporting Events, Fundraising, Schools and General public speaking, tin co-ordinator/collector and being our Mascot.Our Region Covers: Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a great team, meet new people and gain new skills.Volunteering is very flexible, you can either commit to set hours each week/month or join us on a more flexible basis. Any time you can give helps us to fund our lifesaving missions.In return we will give you all the training you need to be successful in the role, support from management, and the opportunity to gain experience working for a national charity.*We require all volunteers to complete a basic DBS check and provide two references, you will be contacted regarding these as part of the application process.
