Volunteer Connector

We are looking for a new member to join our Volunteer Service team in the following position:Norfolk and Waveney Community Support Service - Volunteer Connector (West)30 - 37 Hours per week over four to five daysAre you passionate about the impact volunteers can have? Do you have experience of supporting clients at home or in the community? Do you want to make a difference to your local NHS?We are looking for a Volunteer Connector who is passionate about the difference volunteers can make to their local community, enthusiastic about supporting clients as part of a wider team and knowledgeable about their local area. They make a real difference, by supporting local vulnerable people to rediscover their independence.Volunteer Connectors are the Voluntary Norfolk face of this exciting service, through volunteers and staff, the Norfolk and Waveney Community Support service will provide practical, short-term community support to people being discharged from hospital and living in the community. The service aims to help people through temporary issues or changes, to keep them living safely at home.Salary : £26,080 per annum pro-rata 37 hours per weekContract: Fixed term until 31 March 2025, with extension subject to recommissioning likelyBase: Base tbc. Ability to travel is essential. This role is primarily to support in the west of Norfolk.
