My client is a South Wales-based local authority that manages its own housing stock of up to 4,000 properties. The role is to join the Building Services division, they provide a wide range of services to corporate and housing clients, making quality and efficiency our top priorities. As part of the Environment and Housing Services Directorate, you'll contribute to services that directly affect the residents of the authority.
Your New Role
As the Service Coordinator, your key responsibilities include effectively managing voids and the Adaptation Service. You'll ensure timely and appropriate service delivery by coordinating responses for void works and client adaptations. Your goal is to support independence through efficient use of labour, resources, materials, and external contractors.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Senior-Level Experience:
Successfully manage a diverse range of technical, administrative, and trade staff.
Safety Knowledge:
Understand Health and Safety legislation in the repairs and maintenance sector.
Qualifications:
Hold an HNC level qualification in a building-related discipline or have equivalent demonstrable experience and knowledge.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Be confident and independent in tackling challenges.
