Vmware Consultant

As a VMware Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing VMware-based solutions for clients. You will leverage your expertise to provide strategic guidance, optimise virtualisation environments, and ensure seamless operations. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues, provide exceptional customer service, and stay updated with the latest VMware technologies will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualisation environments, including vSphere, NSX-T, Aria.
Perform assessments of clients' existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans using VMware technologies.
Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimisation of VMware environments.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for VMware-related issues.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, configurations, and procedures.
Stay current with VMware updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to clients' IT staff.
Qualifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher certification.
Experience within VMware administration and consulting.
Strong understanding of vSphere, vCenter , Aria and NSX-T.
Experience with network and storage technologies as they relate to virtualisation.
Proficiency with Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
Well-versed with Dell Storage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
