Video Editor - Full-time permanent position
We’re looking for a Video Editor to join our creative team in Hampshire, working on mini documentaries and promos for clients such as Liverpool Football Club, British Business Bank, NHS, UK Research & Innovation, Solent University, British Antarctic Survey, AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and De Montfort University.
The role will include crafting short, engaging edits for YouTube, social media and on-demand, working alongside our producers and creatives. You will need to be willing to assist with less glamorous tasks such as captioning and
ingesting/organising
footage. There will also be the opportunity to attend shoots and assist with filming, lighting and sound.
We have been established for 25 years and offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects with an experienced team, for clients throughout the UK and overseas.
Essentials:
Competent with Adobe Premiere.
Either a relevant degree or at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Willing to travel to our Hampshire office (New Forest) at least 3 times a week.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Willing to work flexible hours.
Good communication skills.
Technical competence.
Willing to learn and take on feedback.
Attention to detail.
Desirables:
Shooting experience (ideally with Sony FX/6 or similar).
Experience of working on
promos/documentaries.
Experience of using sound and lighting kit.
Adobe After Effects skills.
Photoshop/Illustrator
skills.
Photography skills.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
