Job DescriptionA Software As A Service business in Edinburgh is looking to hire a VP of Engineering to support their transition from start up to scale up. They are on a very interesting journey, most recently expanding their operations and customer presence in North America.The VP of Engineering will come in to oversee a team of 20 professionals which includes Software Engineers | Cloud Engineers | Testers of varying levels. You will form a key part of the management team, with direct influence over the way in which they engineering team operates, scales and delivers.Other responsibilities will include:• Supporting & working with the CTO to deliver the company’s technical vision.• Work in collaboration with the Product team.• Drive continuous improvement, always looking to improve ways of working better.• Design a team structure that encourages maximum performance.• Inspire and engage the team on all things technology and culture.• Build key relationships with internal and external stakeholders.This is an opportunity suited to someone who wants to work in an organisation going places, with plenty of work ongoing now and pipelined for the future.
