The VP, Financial Operations role is for a strategic, experienced leader to oversee Accounts Payable, Order to Cash and other related activities globally, including day-to-day cash management related to these functions.Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will become part of a fast-growing business upon which they will be expected to exercise their influence and leadership in achieving consistency and compliance across our key business processes as well as identifying and putting into action any opportunities for improvement.This role will suit a candidate who is experienced in partnering with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation, has experience driving organisational change and most importantly is willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved.This is a Global leadership position within a fast-growing, dynamic business and as such there will be an expectation that the individual appointed will have a genuine focus on continuous improvement and the gravitas to drive improvements across the Company’s key business processes.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the OTC function including, billings, application of cash to open receivables, reconciliation of billed A/R, customer collections, and optimising cash flow.Oversee all aspects of the PTP function including PO process, reviewing weekly AP runs, and creating KPIs for management.Communicate effectively with staff as well as the various departments that play a role in the Billing and OTC functions.Oversee the collections team, ensuring regular leadership reporting of aged receivables.You will work with the team to lead on finance systems and process transformation programme through 2024 for P2P and OTC. Your previous experience in systems/process design will empower you to lead and inspire innovation on the project, managing internal and external stakeholders.Manage Global Credit card program T&E system and operational processes.Control owner for P2P and OTC – ensure effective controls are in place and monitored.Assist with audit requests and special projects as assigned.Work with Procurement and Legal on strategic vendor cost reduction initiatives.Communicate and work alongside key stakeholders, especially Treasury.Develop and maintain the performance of the team directly and indirectly, including recruiting, coaching, performance management and developing the team as needed.Work closely with the business and Finance Leadership to develop and maintain working capital/cash management processes.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:Proven experience with full cycle OTC including both billings and collections.Proven experience managing staff and proven effectivenessExperience working with multiple entities and different foreign exchange ratesExperience in ownership/oversight of ERP sub-ledger activities, such as Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.Experience of process improvement and systems changes.Strong effective communication skills at all levels of the business, including C-suite.Tech savvy with proven experience.Experience of working for a SAAS Company preferred, although not essential.Strong solution-oriented leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence management and contributors at all levels of the organization and across functions.Experience of working within a complex US corporate structure is highly advantageous.Must have experience working in a Global Environment.Flexible WorkingSo that you can be your best at work and home, we consider flexible working arrangements wherever possible.
