Position Summary Carlyle Global Credit’s Operations team focuses on all Operational activities across the Global Credit Platform, including investment capture, investment funding, treasury management, portfolio compliance, and administrator oversight. Carlyle is seeking a VP level professional to join our Global Credit Operations team based in London. The Operations team is responsible for the ongoing management of our funds as well as developing quantitative tools to support investment decisions, valuations, asset management, investor relations, and reporting. The VP will work closely with other Operations team members globally to handle the day-to-day responsibilities across various fund structures. Additionally, this role will work closely with the Investment Teams, Fund Management, Legal, Tax, Capital Markets, Investor Relations as well as third-party administrators and trustees.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with all aspects of day-to-day middle office operations functions for Carlyle European credit-focused vehicles.Continue to build out and lead a team of private credit operations professionalsWork closely with deal teams, portfolio management and fund management to monitor the pipeline and facilitate deal closings.Proactively manage cash and financing lines across all fund structuresWork closely with Luxembourg Fund Management to ensure timely wire processing and deal fundings for privately held assets, including the review of funds flows and legal documentsWork closely with Fund Management and Corporate Treasury to hedge foreign currency exposureTrade Settlements for all external facing trades across multiple asset classesPartner with our Data Operations team to ensure reference data setup and maintenance within internal systems is properly capturedTrade Booking in Order Management SystemResponsible for reviewing cash and position reconciliations across all entities, and the timely resolutions of breaksAssist with weekly and monthly asset valuationRegular and ad-hoc reporting for various areas within the firmQualificationsBachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline8-12 years of experience in Financial ServicesExperience with public and private creditStrong understanding of loan and credit facility documents, including Credit Agreements and AmendmentsUnderstanding of Foreign Currency and Interest Rate DerivativesAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office SuiteDetail oriented self-starterAbility to work alone and in a global team environmentStrong work ethic, honesty and integrity, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasksCompany Information
