Veterinary Surgeon

Small animal independent surgery seeking permanent veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years’ experience. Competitive salary, accommodation available.
The Practice
We are a small animal independent surgery based in Surrey a short walking distance from a main town centre located close to a train station with good links into London.
We have a great reception and nursing support team that is available to help making sure patients get the best care. Our primary focus is on patient care and making sure we offer the best customer service to our clients. Our practice offers support to our vets and encourages our vets to expand their knowledge and skill set to advance their skills.
We have a full x-ray suite to include dental x-ray a separate cat and dog ward with prep room and ops room. There is a relaxed atmosphere with great nursing team support to fully work up your own cases. We have visiting orthopaedic surgeon and cardiac surgeon that visit us as and when required.
Location
We are a 5 minute walk from a main town centre and a 15 minute walk from a main line train station. There is a good link to London from the train station it takes less than 30 minutes on the train to get into London. We are located on a main road with client parking. Staff parking is available on the surrounding roads and there is plenty of spaces.
The Role
We are looking for a veterinary surgeon with at least 2 plus years’ experience working in a small animal practice. You will need to have a keen interest in surgery and working up your own cases. You will need to work well under pressure and work well in a team and be capable of being sole charge. We are looking for someone that has great customer service skills with a can-do attitude. The hours we are looking for on average is a 40 hour week to include two Saturdays a month.
Successful Candidate
Our successful candidate will be a veterinary surgeon looking to work in a small animal clinic consulting and operating doing routine procedures seeking to advance their skill set and deal with cases in house. A candidate that is looking to build long term relationships with clients with a focus on excellent customer service and patient care.

We would like to offer a competitive salary to the right candidate depending on experience. We are offering a salary between £45,000 to £78,000
