Generous salary up to £65,000 DOEA wonderful opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent small animal practice based in Colchester.Established in 1975 they have established themselves as a welcoming and friendly practice in the area and have built up a very loyal client base. Ideally located, the practice is only a 50 min train ride from central London and a 50 minute drive from Stansted airport. Based in the North Essex/Suffolk border they are surrounded by beautiful countryside and awesome beaches with plenty of opportunity to travel further afield if day trips into London and weekend breaks in Europe are on the wish list.You will be joining a 2.5 FTE vet clinic with space to grow to 3 vets and 5 FTE RVN's.
They are a young but experienced team with a high RVN to vet ratio. They are a nurse training practice and like to work to a high standard but have fun while they do so. The practice is fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology including an In-house laboratory, X-ray, ECG, Ultrasound, Tonometry and much more.The practice has also recently been awarded the Green Award by Investors in the Environment for their steps to reduce their environmental impact, and the "Champions of Health and Wellness" at the 2022 Vet Dynamics awards.They have supported 2 new graduates since 2020 and while they would prefer someone with 2 years' UK experience, they would be open to supporting more recent graduates.The Rota:•
Full time role - Part Time applications will be considered•
4 day week•
1:4 Saturday rota (8.30am - 12.30pm)•
