Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time

Doctor Doolittle's Penarth are looking for a dedicated vet to join them as a sole charge veterinary surgeon.
Main duties include;
Examining and observing animals to diagnose health problems and assess their health
Performing laboratory tests on samples and specimens
Dressing and treating wounds, performing surgery and prescribing medication
Testing for diseases and administering vaccinations
Advising animal owners on preventive healthcare, general care and nutrition
Spaying and neutering dogs and cats
Maintaining medical records of animals

This is a part time position working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday every week, with no weekend or out-of-hours requirements.
The salary for this role is up to £60,000 pro rata depending on experience.

The successful candidate will join our Doctor Doolittle's Penarth clinic, part of a group of 8 practices based in South Wales. We are in a fantastic location, in the heart of the Penarth community.
About the Team and Culture
Joining our close-knit practice, you'll be the sole charge Veterinary Surgeon, supported by a dedicated reception supervisor, 2 part-time RVN's and 1 part-time NA. Our team is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work culture that celebrates teamwork, growth, and a genuine love for animals.
