Wherry Vets have an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at our purpose-built facility in Bungay. This role would suit a caring small animal vet who is looking to enjoy a perfect balance between consulting and operating on a variety of routine and occasional urgent cases, ensuring a dynamic and engaging workday.

Our practice is open from 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturday mornings – there is no OOH requirement for this role and we are be more than happy to discuss flexible shift patterns within these times so that you can enjoy an excellent work-life balance.

You will be working alongside two senior vets who can offer advice and assistance whenever it is needed.
We have an excellent team of support staff who do a great job keeping the vets in line! CPD including studying for certificates is encouraged and funded.
We are based in a lovely purpose-built practice which is very spacious and has all the usual toys, we do also have plans to develop a Hydrotherapy unit in the near future.
Living accommodation could be provided if desired. Located on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, we are close to the sea, boasting some of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the country, yet only 15 miles from the city of Norwich.
The local area is diverse with many lovely walks, lots of wildlife and the chance to partake in water-based activities including stand up paddle boarding, sailing and kayaking. Our new Clinical Director Emma joined the practice in April and is very enthusiastic about making Wherry a wonderful place to work whilst providing first class care to all its patients.
