Join The Rowe Veterinary Group as a Veterinary Surgeon and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our clients and their beloved pets. As a General Practice (GP) vet in our smaller-sized practice, you will undertake a diverse range of duties encompassing consulting and surgery.
We offer flexibility in terms of weekly scheduling, ideally seeking candidates available for 4-5 days per week, with varying shift patterns within our opening hours (including Saturday mornings). Additional weekend rota duties may be required for our hospital site, although there are no out-of-hours responsibilities as we have a dedicated team to manage this aspect of our service.

Located in the picturesque countryside, The Rowe Veterinary Group's Wotton practice provides a tranquil and inviting setting for both our team members and clients. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere, our practice offers the charm of a rural setting combined with the high standard of clinical care and client experience for which Rowe is renowned. Our facilities boast cutting-edge equipment including an excellent ultrasound machine, x-ray facilities, gastroscope, multiparameter monitoring, and dental x-ray capabilities. Additionally, we have an on-site neurologist with MRI capabilities and a radioactive iodine unit, offering opportunities for exploration and specialisation in neurology or feline medicine.
Backed by our tier 3 hospital, we ensure continuity of care by providing our own out-of-hours service, with dedicated ambulance services collecting patients from Wotton twice daily.
Team Dynamics and Experience
At The Rowe Veterinary Group, our Wotton practice is supported by a dedicated team consisting of 2.5 veterinarians and 3.5 full-time equivalent nurses, all of whom possess extensive experience in their respective roles. Our practice fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where team members are encouraged to bring their dogs to work and enjoy rural lunchtime walks, enhancing both work-life balance and team camaraderie. With a friendly and loyal client base, our practice offers the opportunity to experience the fulfilling dynamics of a busy first opinion practice with a varied case load.
