The Veterinary Clinic, New Hall
Salary up to £63,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £5,000
Do you want no weekends or out of hours? Looking for a proper work/life balance?
We are looking for a GP Vet to join our New Hall Clinic team to complement our current team within our group of clinics. An interest in surgery would be encouraged but is not essential.
All aspects of GP duties, including routine and non-routine ops depending on the surgeon's capabilities, access to other IVC clinics for internal referral, for example, Fivelands, Manor, Island and Poole house, vets are encouraged to referral internally where they will have the opportunity to assist the receiving veterinary surgeon with the case if they wish.
This is a shared charge position, working alongside a soon-to-be internal medicine certificate holder, there will be minimal sole charge during holidays and regular days off, both vets work a 4 days week, so one day per week will be sole charge.

A typical day would consist of:
• 9-11am consults
• break
• 11:30-2pm ops, repeat prescriptions etc
• 2-4pm paid break
• 4-7pm consults

The clinic is based in a lovely area which residents call the ‘village’, only a 15-minute drive into Birmingham and its thriving City Centre vibes or 10 minutes into the Staffordshire countryside and the largest urban park in Europe.
Our group is registered with the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme and we have all the usual equipment including standard/dental digital imaging, ultrasonography and dentistry with separate cat and dog wards as well as an external isolation unit.

Our New Hall family includes our highly experienced and motivated Branch Manager whom is an RVN/ECC and Clinical Coach, Student Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants as well as our friendly Receptionist and the team really focus on patient welfare.
We are a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice and our nursing team run well established nurse clinics. We work hard together to maintain a great working environment supporting each other to ensure job satisfaction and wellbeing.
We have close ties with local clinics and have access to a number of certificate holders and referral disciplines.
