Veterinary Surgeon

Vets4Pets Watford Century is looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and established team. This position is for a full-time vet, but we’re flexible, being able to set up for the right candidate a more flexible or even part-time position.We’re looking for a veterinary surgeon confident with all routine medical and surgical cases, and ideally someone able to support a new graduate. We offer a generous CPD allowance, and we’re open to talk about funding a certificate to help you achieve your career goals. The full-time rota is in a 4-day week pattern which will give you a weekday off. There will also be a Saturday rota but no out of hours cover is required. We are very open to discuss the rota and possible flexible hours to fit around your lifestyle.The practice is purpose-built with 3 consult rooms, a dedicated theatre, an in-house lab, a digital X-ray, and ultrasound. In essence we have all that you need to deliver a high standard of care to all of our patients. We see an above average number of rabbits and exotic animals, and a reasonable proportion of our clients are insured allowing us to work up cases to a high standard. You’ll be joining a supportive team led by our JVP / Lead Vet and our Practice Manager, as well as experienced RVNs, Veterinary Care Assistants and Client Care Advisors.If you’re a Harry Potter fan, we have great news for you, we’re only a few miles away from Warner Bros Studio Tour !!
