Grimsby Vet for Pets are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them, consult only possible, paying up to £65,000.Grimsby Vets for Pets are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our collaborative, fun and supportive team who have a diverse range of interests between them.
We’re a happy team who pride themselves on the high standard of care we provide to our clients and of the way we work together.Our established, stand-alone practice has been owned and run by Doctor Agata since 2012 and the clinical team now consists of 3 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN and dedicated support staff including 2 Nursing Assistants.
Within the vet team we have a variety of interests including soft tissue surgery, cardiology, dermatology, regenerative medicine, ECC and one of our vets has a particular focus on feline medicine and fear free handling.
We also welcome a visiting advanced certificate holder in small animal orthopaedic surgery meaning we can keep many of our cases in house.
We also offer physiotherapy, laser therapy, stem cell therapy, behavioural advice and have dental x-ray. Showing that this is a great place for you to feel supported and follow your interests. We are committed to our team’s development and offer a generous CPD allowance and will fund certificates should this be of interest to you.
Agata is also a Vet GDP advisor.Our diary is arranged to give our vets the time to work cases up to the high standard we pride ourselves on, and to allow for case continuity.
Vaccinations are booked for the morning allowing time for emergencies and the daily diary provides an hour block both in the morning and afternoon for admin and an additional 45 minutes before going home for phone calls.Agatha and her colleagues have worked hard to create a relaxed atmosphere with 20 minute consultant times and 15 for boosters. Sharing our passion and commitment for high standards, will ensure you thrive within this role. With a confident and capable approach, the team would love someone who could bring new ideas and ambition to the team, as they are always looking for ways to improve and grow. As a Practice we are inclusive, embracing a supportive and non-judgement environment. We are looking for a vet with some experience to join our team on a part time basis and can accommodate someone looking for a consult only or consult biased role.
This role is for 4 long days and will include 1:3 Saturday mornings.
You will get time off in lieu after working a Saturday which will be sole charge.
The practice itself is open Monday- Friday 8:30am- 7pm, Saturday 9-3 and is closed Sundays.
