Veterinary Surgeon

We are looking for full/part-time veterinary surgeons to join our busy small animal practice in Taunton. Our veterinary team operates on scheduled tasks with everyone having a chance to develop their skills and interests. Days consist of a variety of surgical work, lab work, clinical investigation, imaging, and dental work. We also run 15-minute consultations throughout the day, ensuring you have plenty of time for admin tasks, client phone calls, lab reporting, general case investigation, and discussion!Our full-time vets work four weekdays per week (opening hours 9am – 7pm) and a maximum of 1:4 weekends (Saturday 8.30am-1pm in practice and 1pm-7pm on call, Sunday 8.30am-7pm on call) on a rota basis. We use an OOH provider for all night cover. We are happy to consider flexible working patterns for part-time candidates.The salary is up to £47,000 depending on experience. We are a well-established small animal practice in Somerset, with our main premises in Taunton and a smaller branch in the nearby town of Wiveliscombe.
Our practice is fully equipped for small animal first opinion work, and we are constantly improving and upgrading our clinical facilities to provide the highest standard of care for our patients.
