As a Veterinary Surgeon at the clinic, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team. The lead surgeon, an RCVS advanced practitioner in surgery, holds a certificate in exotics and small animals. You'll be part of a team consisting of 1 Vet, 2 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Client Care Advisors, and 1 Practice Manager. Your role will involve providing excellent client care, conducting basic consultations, and performing routine surgeries such as neutering, dental work, and lumpectomies.



Responsibilities:




  • Conduct basic consultations and routine surgeries.

  • Provide excellent client care.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high standards of veterinary care.

  • Maintain accurate patient records.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.



Requirements:




  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in conducting basic consultations and performing routine surgeries.

  • Ability to work part-time, ideally on Mondays and 1 in 2 Saturdays (flexibility available).

  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
