My client is a progressive practice who are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Vet to join their established team. They have been established in the local community for many years and pride themselves on their excellent long-lasting relationships with their patients and their owners. They are an RCVS-accredited practice, and this will expose the successful candidate to a large surgical and medical caseload whilst working for them. A candidate who is confident carrying out consults and general surgeries would be ideal. You will be joining a passionate team of 3 Vets, including a Cert AVP holder, visiting specialists and a good mix of RVNs and SVNs. You will be working within a well-equipped surgery including digital X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house lab, ultrasonic dental scaler and polisher and endoscopes/bronchoscopes. They are pretty generous with their equipment and are always keen to add to the collection, especially where it adds value to the development of patient care.No matter your level, they offer superb opportunities for your development, with direct support available from certificate holders, visiting specialists and a larger support network of regional vets who visit on request. This still gives you the experience of dealing with the day-to-day caseload while having their help as and when needed. They are offering a competitive benefits package, including a good salary commensurate with experience, the ability to buy extra annual leave, enhanced sick pay and excellent wellbeing support. They are more than happy to chat to anyone looking for part-time or full-time. Full-time hours are 40 a week and these can be worked over 4 or 5 days.
