Veterinary Surgeon - Orthopaedic

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a highly skilled experienced Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon to join a dynamic team. As a key member of the practice, you will bring your orthopedic expertise to enhance our services and contribute to the establishment of a referral center. The practice is specialized in small animals and felines. Our client is committed to providing exceptional veterinary care, and we are looking for a professional who shares a passion for delivering high-quality service. Although part-time is preferred, will consider full-time time.The salary for this Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon role is £70,000 - £85,000 per annum (pro-rata).Responsibilities of the Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon:
Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of animals presenting with internal medical issues.Perform orthopaedic surgeries with precision and proficiency.Diagnose and treat orthopaedic conditions in a variety of animal species.Contribute to the development and implementation of orthopedic referral services.Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.Stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic veterinary medicine and incorporate best practices into daily patient care.Educate pet owners on post-surgical care and rehabilitation practices.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all orthopedic cases.
Requirements of the Orthopaedic Veterinary Surgeon:
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.Advanced training or certification in Orthopaedic Surgery is highly desirable.Veterinary license.Proven experience in performing orthopedic surgeries in a veterinary setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and empathetic approach towards both animals and their owners.
