Veterinary Surgeon - Mayow Veterinary Surgery, South East London

This is a role working 2 days at Mayow Vets and 2 days at Parish Lane, our branch clinic which is only a short 5 minute drive from Mayow.
This is a traditional converted house with two really large consult rooms and a large waiting area, a prep area with dog kennels and a separate cat ward. We have two theatres and we are ISFM Silver Accredited Cat Friendly.
We see a really good caseload here, big surgical caseload with orthopaedic cases and a great Medicine caseload too. We are a busy clinic and see a good variety of cases including ECC. We have some fantastic equipment and are always evolving!
This is a 3 Vet clinic with a really strong team and a customer service manager that oversees all 3 practices in the region (Mayow, Parish Lane & Peckham). We have 8 Receptionists that work between the 3 sites, a HRVN, 2 RVNs, an SVN about to qualify, 3 SVNs, and a couple of VCAs too! We have two Senior Vets here at Mayow - a Surgery Certificate Holder and a Vet who loves all lives Medicine & Dermatology! We have a fantastic team of vets here, all either doing certificates or planning to do one in the future.
The Mayow clinic is located in a really nice area - doesn't feel too much like London but is super close to Crystal Palace and not too far from London Bridge. We are quite close to the Kent border and there area loads of local schools with lots of choice nearby.
The train station is only a few minutes walk from the practice and there area good bus links nearby too.
The Parish Lane clinic was a purely consulting branch but has really grown over the last few years. We now have a theatre and basic surgeries and dental procedures can take place here. It is a 1 Vet clinic and you will spend 2 days per week here with a nursing and support team.
