[n/a] We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a expanding practice in a consulting role!This position would be ideal for someone who is a confident general practitioner but has a keen interest in developing themselves in consulting. You will work closely with the nursing team in driving the continued development of nursing consultations to complement the veterinary team and provide an outstanding service to the pets under their care.This is an excellent opportunity for someone to take the next step in a consult only role with full support from a multidisciplinary team.The shift pattern can be flexible, happy to accept both full/part-time applicants. There is a share of Saturday mornings working 8:30 am-12:30 pm, with TOIL given for each weekend worked. No OOH.The salary is up to £73,000 depending on experience along with excellent benefits.You will be joining a growing practice with great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and access to endoscope if needed. Working alongside a wonderful nurse team, they have 3 vets who have been qualified for 2-15 years. The veterinary team enjoy all aspects of general veterinary practice. High-quality clinical care is of utmost importance to the team, they even thoroughly enjoy staged dentals. The clinical team, routinely conduct audits, ensuring that they are always working towards gold standard first opinion pet care.
