Surrounded by nature reserves, islands, and mountains, Barrow offers a unique blend of outdoor adventures and historical charm.Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with post-qualification experience to become a valued member of the team. The ideal candidate should be confident in consultations and basic surgical procedures, including spays, castrates, and dentals. You will be responsible for a diverse caseload, covering general practice first opinion cases such as dentals, diagnostic imaging, and orthopaedics.Their fully-equipped practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including X-ray, Dental X-ray, Ultrasound, In-house Lab, and a Hydrotherapy unit. Soon, they will be adding K-lazer technology to enhance their rehabilitation services. The hydrotherapy unit focuses on the recovery of patients from orthopaedic surgery, as well as assisting clients with osteoarthritis and weight management. Their commitment to excellence is further highlighted by one of their RVNs undertaking a physiotherapy and rehabilitation course to complement their hydrotherapy services.You will be working alongside a highly skilled team of veterinary professionals, including 4 Veterinary Surgeons with specialisations in Ophthalmology and health certs/travel, 4 RVNs, and 4 support roles. Additionally, there is also a visiting cardiologist specialist who visits the practice throughout the year and enables the team to be involved in these cases.At the practice, they prioritise clinical freedom, case continuity, and a positive working environment. Consultations are structured for 15 minutes, allowing ample time for thorough case workups. They encourage a friendly, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to patient care, and are looking for a team player who shares these values.The Rota:•
Full time - 40 hour week•
4 or 5 day working week•
1:4 Saturday rota•
No OOH•
