Veterinary Surgeon – South Wales

Due to an ever-expanding caseload, our clients in South Wales are currently for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role is 4 days per week with 1:6 Saturday mornings. There are no OOH or Sundays with this role allowing a healthy balance with work and general life. The role pays up to £60,000 DOE.
You will join a team of progressive and knowledgeable Vets with multiple certificate holders. It would be great if you have an orthopaedic bias, however, this isn't essential. They see a good mix of surgical and medical caseloads including a small amount of exotics. Certificates are well supported and actively encouraged.
They have meeting days once a month where they block off consultations and meet as a team. This allows time to share information and ideas and promote active case discussion between vets. There is also time given for individuals to focus on projects they want to work on, or the time is used for personal development. This client shows a genuine desire to develop their team where possible.
They offer time off in lieu of any overtime worked and give associates opportunities to take on additional paid responsibilities. They also run an employee of the month scheme, practice book club and have enjoyed a few retreat days together spending the weekend relaxing in a hot tub!
