Nurse Team Leader OpportunityLocation: Henley on-ThamesAbout Us:Join our independent Small Animal Practice in Henley on-Thames as a Nurse Team Leader. This senior position involves managing a team of RVNs and SVNs in a dynamic and supportive environment.Role Overview:Responsibilities: As the Nurse Team Leader, you will be accountable for the leadership and management of the Nursing Team. This includes ensuring excellent nursing care for The Veterinary Centre's clients and supporting the Clinical Team of Vets.Reporting To: Head NurseDirect Reports: 7-8 RVNs and two SVNsSalary:£36,000-£38,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)Working Hours:Full time (40 hours per week)Option to work 4 or 5 days per weekOut of Hours:1 in 4 Saturday day shiftsVery occasional night shifts (Monday Friday, less than 1 per month)Two days off after a night shiftHolidays:6 weeks paid annual leave (incl bank holidays)Service-based increasesBirthday leaveCPD:£2,000 annual CPD allowancePaid time to use itAdditional Perks:Bring your dog(s) to work20% off at Pets at Home, The Groom Room, and the Vet GroupAbout Us:We are a medium-sized, 100% small animal practice with plans to expand into a purpose-built hospital. Patient welfare and good case continuity are our priorities, achieved through our dedicated team of night nurses for out-of-hours service.About the Role:The Nurse Team Leader will lead by example, fostering a culture of positivity and collaboration within the nursing team.
