Vehicle Technician

Are you an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician looking for a new role with a fantastic growing company? Our client is expanding rapidly and are looking for new staff to join their team and grow with them. You will be joining a very friendly team with one of the UK s vehicle hire companies who are always wanting to help and work together to achieve the best results possible Main: 42.5 hours a week Monday - Friday 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings 8am to 5pm with 1 hour break Saturdays 8am-12pm rota paid at OT rate 1 Salary between £35,000 - £41,500 OTE Bonus Scheme - £600 per quarter roughly £2400 per year Training bonus available up to £1500 a year The Role of a Vehicle Technician: Carry out services on all makes and models of vehicles Pre and post MOT repairs Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment General maintenance and repairs Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) Suspension work Repairs on lights Repairing and replacing exhausts Repairing and replacing clutches Dealing with gearboxes Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services Hold a full valid driver license. MOT Tester Certificate highly desirable but not essential
