Vehicle Technician

Earn great money as a Vehicle Technician required working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 for an established independent garage in Northampton. The role would suit an aspiring Master Technician looking for training or a Master Technician looking for variety and stability. Based in Northampton

SALARY: £ 35,000 - £ 50,000

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Master Technician, Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic - Automotive

As an aspiring Master Technician or experienced Vehicle Technician, you probably already have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) and offer a good level of experience.

You’ll be:
· Competent completing all routine maintenance
· Proficient carrying out repair work
· Experienced with diagnostic systems and procedures
· Licensed to carry out MOT’s, however this isn’t essential
· Keen to build yourself a career and work towards becoming a Master Technician, if you aren’t already
· Passionate about cars, you might restore or modify vehicles in your own time
· Willing to share or learn the knowledge around you

JOB DESCRIPTION: Master Technician, Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic - Automotive

As a Vehicle Technician / aspiring Master Technician, you’ll be joining our team of Technicians to service and repair a wide range of vehicles, from modern, top of the range cars (including EV), right through to classic cars. Our independent garage is fully equipped with some of the best equipment on the market.

As an independent garage, we carry out a wide range of work such as: servicing, MOT’s, diagnostics, wheel alignments, air-con, braking systems and mechanical repairs such as engines, clutches and gearboxes. We provide the specialist tools you’ll need to carry out the day to day works in the garage.

Our skilled Technicians utilise the latest trade equipment to deliver a high standard of workmanship. Our onsite Technician training school has been instrumental in developing our technicians and reception teams.
