Alecto Recruitment are looking for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians and / or MOT Testers for an independent garage in the Enfield area. If you have a passion for automotive maintenance and repair, along with the necessary qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work.
• Conduct MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations, ensuring vehicles meet legal safety and environmental standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults efficiently and accurately using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
• Provide excellent customer service, explaining repair options and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA MOT testing license.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK driving license.
